What is ISO certification

World leading management systems

A progressive company requires leading management systems to meet its objectives, to optimise environmental performance and to safeguard workplace health.

International standards make things work. They are vital to international trade and to ensuring safe and efficient business operations. That is why Macnaught are certified under the International Standard Organisation (ISO) model for management system standards (MSS).

The name ISO is derived from the Greek isos, meaning equal. By joining with other countries to take part in an equal global standard, Macnaught becomes part of a bigger picture and an integral leader in providing solutions to global challenges.

What are the benefits?

The ISO model is vital to working internationally in the agricultural, automotive, industrial, mining and transport industries and to building a reputation for uncompromising standards. Macnaught aims not only to meet regulatory requirements but to exceed them.

The ISO MSS model sets the stage for the more efficient use of resources, better risk management and protection of people and the environment, increased capability to deliver and, consequently, increased value to customers.

Working to an internationally recognised management system standard not only allows manufacturers and distributors like Macnaught to trade efficiently, but it also allows them to spend more time on innovation and product development. The ISO model is necessary to stimulate the growth of world leaders in every industry.

What are the standards?

ISO:14001

This standard supports organisations to manage their environmental responsibilities. With sound processes in place, companies minimise how their operations might otherwise adversely affect air, water, or land. Additionally, with ISO:14001 systems certification, Macnaught complies with applicable laws, regulations, and other stipulated environmental requirements. This certification also facilitates continued improvement in environmental management.

ISO-IEC 80079-34

The Explosive Atmospheres Standard relates to explosives, with requirements in regards establishing and maintaining a quality system to manufacture explosive equipment, including protective systems. It is just another way that Macnaught demonstrates a commitment to safety in the production and work environment.

These ISO MSS combine to certify Macnaught as a world leader in management systems and practices.
